Who can be a Scout?

When a Cub reaches 11 years of age they may become a Scout.  The Cub Scout Leader will advise the Troop Scout Leader when a Cub is ready to move on to Scouts.
Anyone aged 11  to 14  can join The Scout Association as a Scout provided that they understand and want to make the Scout Promise.
Following on from Scouts, there is the opportunity to become an Explorer Scout.

Meetings

19:30 – 21:00 Monday evenings at St. Anne’s Parish Hall on Church Road, Bagshot.

Programme & Activities

The Scouts activity programme is designed to let the scout

  • Master new skills and try new things
  • Make new friends
  • Have fun and go on adventures, at home and abroad
  • Explore the world around them
  • Help others and make a difference, in their own communities and beyond

Working towards activity and challenge badges, scouts can achieve the highest award in scouting – the Chief Scouts Gold Award.
