Find out what our Beavers have been up to this week

Butser Ancient Farm! What a fantastic camp! A real trip through history! The leaders where spread between the Bronze, Iron and Saxon periods and the Young leaders stayed in the Stone Age! We all made friends with some beautiful animals and a Roman Soldier who some how travelled back in time to join us in the Iron Age in the morning.

Scout camp update. The dinner preparations are underway, the young leaders are firmly stuck in the stone age and the roundhouse looks fantastic!

We’re glad the fires alight in the Iron Age roundhouse

Scout camp has started with a climb up Butser Hill before heading to Butser Ancient Farm.

Beavers and Cubs were finishing their cook and chef badges this evening with a lovely cheesecake (leave them in the fridge for 24 hours before you eat them!). We also officially invested a few Beavers and Cubs, welcome to the group!

The Cubs had a spag bol cook off this evening. The problem was the tasters couldn’t pick a winner, they were all delicious!
