Scouts

When a Cub reaches 11 years of age they may become a Scout.  The Cub Scout Leader will advise the Troop Scout Leader when a Cub is ready to move on to Scouts.

Who can be a Scout?

Anyone aged 11  to 14  can join The Scout Association as a Scout provided that they understand and want to make the Scout Promise.

Following on from Scouts, there is the opportunity to become and Explorer Scout.

Explorer Scouts would be 14 1/2 – 25 years (male and female membership) and meet at West End or Lightwater HQ’s.  Explorer contacts: Lesley Currant (West End Explorers)

Meetings

Programme & Activities Spring 2010

Welcome back.

Below will be a summary of the events planned for this term. Events marked with an asterisk have an associated permission form which you should have received.

District events* are subject to the Scouts wanting to enter, adult support being available and the availability of places – so all district events are subject to confirmation for those attending.

There is a Scout Group notice board midway down the hall with more Group information. Please could you take time to look at these notice board every week as it is often difficult for the leaders to speak to parents during drop off and pick up times. However if you have any questions then please feel free to wait around after Scouts and speak to either Steve.
